The Queen of Ooni of Ife, Her Regal Majesty, Olori Ambassador Dr. Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi was a guest of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Andrey L. Podelyshev and his wife, Mrs. D. Podelyshev during the celebration of Russia Victory Day at the Embassy in Abuja.

 

The Embassy in Nigeria joined the home country to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory Day, which celebrates the defeat of Nazi Germany and the end of the Eastern Front of World War II.

On May 4, in Lagos, on the eve of Victory Day, a motor rally and the Immortal Regiment action were held, organized by the Association of Russian Compatriots. A gala dinner dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held.

Her Regal Majesty, Olori Ambassador Dr. Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi was among the guests invited to the gala dinner.
