Police Arrest Members Of Armed Robbery & Kidnapping Syndicate, Recover Firearms, Vehicle And Other Exhibits

The Rivers State Police Command has recorded another major breakthrough in its ongoing fight against violent crimes, following the arrest of four suspected members of an armed robbery and kidnapping syndicate.
According to the PPRO, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, on 8th August, 2025, at about 11:30hrs, a team of operatives from Bori Division, while on routine patrol along Nkpee Street, Bori, acted swiftly upon receiving a distress call regarding the suspicious activities of unknown persons in the area.
The operatives apprehended the following suspects:
1.Solomon Chris (Male, 26 years)
2.Fabulous John (Male, 26 years)
3.Wisdom Kalongo (Male, 30 years)
4.Wisdom Samuel (Male, 33 years)
Items recovered from the suspects include:
•One locally-made revolver pistol
•One live ammunition
•Quantity of hard drugs (loud)
•Criminal charms
•One ash-coloured Toyota Sienna vehicle, Registration No. BNY-758FS
The suspects are currently in custody, and investigation is ongoing to apprehend other fleeing members of the gang and recover more of their operational weapons.
The Rivers State Police Command said it remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of all residents and calls on members of the public to continue to provide timely and useful information to the Police.
