Popular Warri Prophet, Fufeyin Battles Another Pastor Over Controversial Testimony

Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, the General Overseer of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Warri, Delta State is currently at war with another Warri Pastor, John Mark Ighosotu over a controversial testimony given during a deliverance programme held at the latter’s church, God’s Delight Gospel Assembly aka Free Indeed.

P.M.EXPRESS learnt this has become a subject of police investigation as Fufeyin claimed he has been defamed.

Fufeyin had in a petition to the Inspector General of Police, alleged conspiracy, cybercrime and criminal defamation in a viral video, which reportedly emanated from Ighosotu’s church during a deliverance programme.

This, it was learnt, led to an attempt by some policemen from Abuja to arrest Ighosotu penultimate week but was foiled by a mobile police officer identified as Aminu Abraham, attached to the cleric.

After the botched attempt, the officer was later arrested for reportedly “helping the clergyman to evade police arrest.”

Addressing journalists on Friday in Warri over the matter between the two Pastors, a human rights activist, Mr. Oghenejabor Ikimi, accused Fufeyin of resorting to intimidation by using the police and media to harass his client (Ighosotu) over an issue that was currently under police investigation.
