Prince Charls Amadi: Great Leader and Political Field Marshal

A brief citation for Prince Charls Amadi (Charlvon), will read thus: “Here is a man, who came prepared and predestinated from the womb to attain great heights in life with determination and unyielding resolve.

His story is unique because like King David, he followed a tortuous path filled with hard work, challenges and enervating moments but he remained resolute, resilient, undaunted and emerged successful in the end. In clear demonstration of piety and humility, he will always acknowledge that it is only God Almighty that did it. He is a man of immense composure, accommodating, kind, simple, full of integrity, brutally frank but congenitally kind-hearted. He is a gentle giant and man of few words but purposefully fearless and courageous in his actions. He is always calm and full of refreshing candour but made of steel.
As man of destiny and notable philanthropist, who has seen it all, Prince Charls Amadi, has built bridges of love and unity, empowered a multitude, lifted many out of poverty, brought meaningful development to Mbaitoli – Ikeduru Federal Constituency and Owerri Zone, changed his story by dint of sheer hard work to the narrative of a successful business magnate with heavy financial capacity and capabilities. He is the Chairman/Chief Executive of Charlvon Group of Companies, a mover and shaker, a go-getter, a robust Kingmaker, indomitable operational leader, the “Jagaband” of Imo Politics, the national leader of Owerri Zone Political Leaders Forum, OZOPOLF, the great son of Ikeduru and apex political leader, father of the youngest member of the Federal House of Representatives, man with the Midas touch and irrepressible political Field Marshal of our time.” Ladies and gentlemen let us rise and applaud this great son of Imo State, a through and through gentleman, a blessed man of peace with a heart of gold and disarming smile… Prince Charls Amadi.”

It is indeed heartwarming and extremely pleasant to note that Owerri Zone is blessed with such a special son and a rare gift, because the likes of him come once in a generation.

I have attended meetings he chaired, which offered me the opportunity to understand the true value and nature of Prince Charls Amadi.

This is a leader that will quench any raging political fire and calm frayed nerves when he speaks with his soothing soft voice. He will never raise his voice and if you are proving too stubborn he will always allow more space for peaceful resolution of any burning or controversial matter.

Charlvon, as he is fondly called by friends and well-wishers, has never occupied any government position in his life but still highly influential because of his political wizardry and today in Imo politics, especially Owerri Zone, the common political parlance is: “We need to consult with Charlvon first, ” yes, it is true because he makes things happen and you can only ignore him at your own political peril.

Prince Charls Amadi is like the wood log one will step on to cross a stream because he is politically indispensable in Owerri Zone and Imo State.

Prince Amadi is a force to be reckoned with and unavoidable bridge you must cross if you want to succeed politically in Imo State because he is a political Field Marshal – I have to add political to avoid invitation from the Defence Headquarters.

Indeed, Prince Charls Amadi is a political Field Marshal, because he has fought many political battles successfully and rose through the ranks of politics under the tutelage of late Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, and has paid his “political dues” conscientiously over the years.

As a great leader, he does not disappoint and always leading the way like a real political Field Marshal with a huge sense of purpose and his resources. He is down-to-earth, treats his followers with maximum respect and accords them honour. His leadership prowess, which can be described as top-notch, has been tried and tested, and has weathered many storms and challenges. He is neither a political neophyte nor flash in the pan because he has a rich and unquestionable political history.

Prince Charls Amadi – the man with immense political experience is not contesting any election, he hates none but only eager for the unity and success of Owerri Zone politically. As a team player with refined character, his brand of politics is inclusive, productive, dynamic and without bitterness.
