Prince Kazeem Eletu Honoued With Award Of Excellence In Lagos

It was a day of honour for the Chairman Eletu Football Club, Prince Kazeem Austin Eletu Edibo when he received an Awards of Excellence from Badagry Divisional Football Association BDFA and Eko Youth Sports Association for his contribution to the football development and humanity not only in Lagos but Nigeria at large.


The award recipient is the Chairman of Prince Kazeem Eletu FC,Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Academy and Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Queens.

At the award presentation held last Saturday at his residence,Prince Kazeem Eletu who was elated to receive an awards noted that the awards bestowed on him by different organisations would spur him to do more for humanity.


“I am happy to receive these awards because it was clear indication that what we have been doing for humanity for years ago is being appreciated by the people,” he said.

The Club chairman tasked well to do people in the society to use their resources to assist the needy instead of lavishing it on unnecessary things.
He said before he rose to his position he is today,he had suffered in the past and encouraged those who are facing hard times not to lose hope saying that all will be well if they are hopeful and prayerful.


“I was not born from a silver spoon home.i was once a bus conductor before and suffered a lot.I was not born from rich family but I thank God today that I am in position to use my resources to touch many lives. Let me say I used more than seventy percent of my resources for humanity. What is essence of keeping money in the bank when I see people suffering around me. My advice for those who are well to do is to use their money, resources to touch lives and that is the only way we can make our creator happy,” he said.


In his response, Chairman Badagry Divisional Football Association, Mobee Kayode explained why the association gave an award to Prince Kazeem Eletu.


He said the award recipient had done so much for football development in Lagos State noted that his clubs are doing well in the state.

“Prince Kazeem Eletu has distinguished himself in various capacities and we BDFA deem it fit to honour him with this award which I believe it would make him to do more for his clubs and people around him” he said.


While coordinator of Eko Youths Sports Association, Lateef Ogunfowra Ojora said Prince Eletu deserved national award for what he has done for humanity. e said he gave him award to show appreciation for what he had done on Lagos Island and Lagos at large.
