Prophet Zaccheus Adeogun Celebrates 75th Birthday Amid Pomp

  Sunday April 9, 2023 (Easter Sunday) will remain evergreen in the memories of the members of the Orisun Ibukun (Olomowewe) Cathedral of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) located at No.32 Segun Adetiba Road, Ajegunle-Ilo in Ogun State. On that day, the members rolled out the drums in Thanksgiving to Almighty God in celebration of the 75th birthday anniversary of their Shepherd-in-Charge, Prophet Zaccheus Adeogun. Friends, family and members of the church turned out in their numbers to honour a man of God who has played a positive role in their individual lives as a mentor, counsellor, confidant, prophet, father, and a spiritual compass. Speaking at the occasion, Superior Evangelist Gbam Gba  described the celebrant as a strict disciplinarian who is overflowing with passion for the work of God. For the celebrant, who was born on April 5, 1948, in Joga Orile in Ogun State, Prophet Adeogun could not hide his excitement and gratitude first to Almighty God who has remained his strength and his flock who have remained committed to the vision of the Church. Prophet Adeogun in his remarks said, “In my four decades in the Vineyard of God, my Father in Heaven who gave me this Divine assignment has been very faithful to me”. The Shepherd in Charge also expressed his gratitude to the members of the church for making the Thanksgiving ceremony a memorable occasion. Without a doubt, God has been very faithful to the man of God who has been upholding the banner of the Christian faith for over four decades when he was commissioned for the assignment of spreading the gospel and winning souls.
