Police sources at the station said they read the incident in the social media and the DPO directed discreet investigation to find out the truth. The house-help, an orphan identified as Elizabeth Uwhebe, was punished by the Pastor for lying that she had done an errand she was yet to do.
The incident happened at 9  Babatope Close, Igando where the pastor reside with his family and the victim.
The information went viral on the social media through a publication by one Facebook user, Bello Anny Lawrence, detailing the graphic images of the violent abuse of the victim. This attracted condemnnation and drew the attention of the police.

Lawrence and other neighbours are demanding for justice on the girl’s behalf.

The house-help is now under the care of a concerned family in the neighbourhood.
When our reporter visited the house, Ojugo denied that such a thing happened.
He said the information was leaked by one of his tenants who he said he gave quit notice to leave.
He said it was a calculated attempt to blackmail him because he asked the author of the post to park out of his house.
While he could not explained how the girl’s buttock got burnt, the pastor said he had started making consultation to take legal step to redeem his image over the matter.
