Today, I know there will not be much to celebrate because we are in the holy month of Ramadan and the period of Laylatul Qadr, but tributes, gifts, and prayers are pouring in for Rosul Eshilokun from families, relatives, friends and political associates.
Rosul Eshilokun, known for his grassroots versatility in political discourse, has contributed significantly to the APC as a party through his involvement in party politics, development, features, political engagement, and assignment genres for the party progressive. He plays his politics with a human touch. It has always been about the people. Their welfare, their growth, and their survival. He defends the people, even at the expense of personal comfort.
Last week, while on phone with Chairman Renewed Hope Media Team 2025, Hon. Lateef Ajiga described Prince Hon. Mohammed Adekunle Rosul Eshilokun as an insightful and intelligent man with acuity of thought and the ability to express complex and complicated ideas in fine prose, which stands him out.
“He is a rare gift to humanity and a blessing to the people of Lagos Island. I pray for a man who would gladly lend his shoulder for others to lean on. A man who will help you grow and achieve your dreams. Through his commitment to the welfare of the people, he has become a nightmare for others, Ajiga praised.
He went on to say, “His great exploits in local politics and achievements on the Island of politics remain indelible, uncommon, and unmatched as the most experienced aspirant anyone can challenge”.
Using this occasion to appreciate Rosul Eshilokun for believing and appointing him as chairman of Media Renewed Hope 2025, he promised never to disappoint in this appointment.
For me, his exposure, political experience, and commitment to the course of serving the good people of Lagos Island have redefined people-centric politics for Islanders.
He is endowed and gifted with wisdom, with particular leadership towards commitment to service, which had played out on several occasions in the political field as testified by very many political juggernauts in Island politics.
