Scarlet Gabriel On The Move With ‘Cash Out’

Posted on June 24, 2024

Renowned for her powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence, London-based actress and singer/songwriter, Scarlet Gabriel, is on the move.

The artiste dropped her highly anticipated single, Cash Out on June 21, 2024 in collaboration with Afrobeats star, Rayce and Big Suni of Black Wall Street.

According to Scarlet, who is currently in Nigeria, shes inspired by her rich background in African, Caribbean and world music. Describing her musical style as eclectic, the artiste says she celebrates diversity while maintaining her unique approach characterized by intricate harmonies and candid expression.

Aside music, Scarlet is also recognized for her roles in premier West End and Broadway productions like Kinky Boots, Ghost, Mamma Mia! The Party, Six, and Waitress. Her extensive touring has brought her to far flung destinations like Italy, Belgium, Romania, China, South Pacific Islands and Australia among others. In addition, Scarlet has made television appearances across all major UK networks including BBC1, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, as well as SKY1 and MTV Base.

During the Ileya weekend, Scarlet performed back to back at Big Sunis birthday shindig in Abuja. The response to her performances at the Abuja hotspots was exhilarating. Everyone was on their feet, dancing, smiling and clapping to Cash Out along with other songs I made whilst in Nigeria. Everyone kept dancing like theyd heard the songs before; it was a very special moment for me she enthused.

On her trip to Nigeria and expectations for Cash Out for which a video has just been shot, Scarlet said: “Im having a wonderful time in Nigeria and Im happy to finally see the land of so many of my friends. Nigeria is a land we hear so much about in the UK, so its great to be here at last. I do hope that Cash Out is well received here in Nigeria and everyone adds it to their party playlists and streams it non-stop. I also expect the deejays to continue playing it in the clubs, and that people enjoy both the song and the video.

Having just completed collaboration with YoYo Ovi, the UK-based entertainer is now looking forward to more performances and collaborations with Nigerian musicians.

My Nigerian experience has been amazing and I would absolutely love to keep collaborating with talented Nigerian artistes as well as bringing their voices to my UK fan base. I would love to be invited back to Nigeria to perform and even do an African tour.
