The Senator representing Anambra Central, Senator Victor Umeh, OFR (Ohamadike Ndigbo) and his wife, Lady Prisca Umeh, on Sunday joined the management, staff, parents and students of Bubendorff Memorial Grammar School (BMGS), Adazi-Nnukwu, for send-forth ceremony in honour of the former principal and manager of the school, Rev. Fr. Theo Ekwem.
The ceremony commenced with a Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Theo Ekwem at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, built by Senator Victor Umeh inside the school premises.
Senator Umeh, who was the chairman of the occasion, thanked Fr. Ekwem for working tirelessly to transform the institution to an enviable height. He prayed God to sustain him during his studies in Rome, Italy.
In a special vote of thanks, Rev. Fr. Ekwem thanked Senator Victor Umeh and his wife for their numerous contributions and donations to the school, especially for singlehandedly building a befitting place of worship (Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church) for the school. He prayed God to bless them and all those who made various contributions for the transformation of the institution.
