Seyi Lawal Meets APC Ward Chairmen, Women & Youth Leaders, Assures Quality Representation

The candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for Ikeja Constituency 1 for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Seyi Lawal, has pledged adequate representation to the people of his Constituency when elected into office at 2023 general election.
Prince Seyi Lawal, who was a two-term Councillor and former leader of the legislative arm of Onigbongbo LCDA made this promise on Friday 14th October, 2022, when he met with the APC Ward Chairmen, Women leaders and the Youth leaders from the eight Wards that make up Ikeja Constituency 1.
He stated that he called the meeting in order to change the narrative and plan ahead of the 2023 election because he believes that there is a need to have an all inclusive campaign in the forthcoming general elections.
“We must strive hard to ensure that APC wins elections at all levels” he added.
Speaking at the meeting, the Ward F Alausa Chairman, Alhaji Abiala Ganiu, described the meeting as an opportunity provided by the candidate for them to speak their minds. He then expressed what he called lack of accessibility by some previous representatives while he urging Prince Seyi Lawal to operate an open door policy.

Ward A Chairman, Comrade Kehinde Nofiu ‘KENNY O’ also said that all Ward Chairmen should be given sense of belonging. The LGA Women Leader, Mrs Kemi Oluwajana, also contributed her own quota while Comrade Kenneth Agba, the LGA Youth Leader, advised the candidate on the way forward.
The candidate, while soliciting for the support of the stakeholders, said that he would continue to be available, accessible, and will facilitate projects that will have direct impacts on the lives of the people when elected in 2023 election.
The meeting, which was held at the temporary campaign office at No. 2, Makinde Street, Alausa, Ikeja, had in attendance Mrs. Kemi Oluwajana, Mrs. Mudasheer Lateefat, Mrs. Bukola Olaniyan, Mrs. Omorose, Mrs. Bisola Bakare, Mrs. Esther Johnson, Mrs. Patience Isaac, Mrs. Victoria Yekini, Mrs. Fadairo Muyibat, Mr. Olarenwaju Nureni, Rotimi Odunosho, Alh. Abiala Ganiu, Jaiyeola Joseph, Comrade Kehinde Nofiu, Adejuwon Hakeem, Aweda Azeez, Monsuru Oladejo, Mr. Fagba, Lawal Sheriff, Ilori Gbolahan Gbenga Adesho among others.
