Soludo: A Book Of Two Chapters
MAZI EJIMOFOR OPARA

Yesterday, the 17th of March, effectively marked the beginning of a new chapter in the life of the Soludo administration. The general consensus is that the first chapter was a full intrigue, with unforgettable action scenes, learning points, new beginnings and then ending with a suspense bloc that introduces the second chapter — the Next Big Steps!
These facts, agreed by all as “never-before-seen” make the Soludo book “unputdownable”. Thus, the anticipation is on a new high. As usual, the author is very clear about his next big steps. Even from the dining table last night, work related instructions have been dished out, the people cannot wait as they have already started reading the second chapter written with clarity, in fine prints and delineated into timelines.
In his speech yesterday, Gov. Soludo gave a clear recap of a few moments in the first chapter, an act that has elicited great applause from Ndi Anambra and the rest of the Nation. Former President Obasanjo, while departing the State yesterday, gave a warm hug to Soludo with these words, “Chukwuma, you have not disappointed me. You have every reason to celebrate”. Vice President Kashim Shettima also remarked, “Governor Soludo, you have justified the place of technocrats in power”.

Interestingly, there are achievements in the first chapter that can be described as unanticipated — great things done by the Author that were not promised abinitio. As we commence the second chapter, my focus would tilt towards the next “unpromised” great things, as it is already taken for granted that what Soludo has promised to do, he will do.
