Following Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s giant strides in youth and human capital development, the Federal Government attracted by Soludo’s achievements, has entered into partnership with Anambra State Government with the aim of driving the Skills Upgrading and Vocational Training (SUVT) Programme. Earlier yesterday, the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, who was represented by Mr. Commissioner for Youth Development, Awka, Honorable Patrick Agha Mba, was at the FCT, Abuja, to sign an MoU between the Anambra State Government and the Federal Government via the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, headed by the Honourable Minister, Dr. Chris Ngige, with regards implementation of the SUVT.

Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, after taking the oath of office as the Executive Governor of Anambra State, had swung into action to fulfill his campaign promises to Anambra Youths by rolling out series of youth development programmes including the One Youth Two Skills Solution Program, Solution Innovation District (SID), etc.

The unique feature of Soludo’s youth development programmes is its incorporation of holistic components to ensure that beneficiaries (cutting across all categories of youths resident in the state) are empowered with skills (vocational, digital and entrepreneurship) and finance to startup and scale up their businesses. The Anambra Governor has shown that he is committed to utilizing any means available at his disposal to empower Ndi Anambra.
