St. Ives Emerges Most Outstanding Fertility Hospital, Listed Among Frontline Health Facilities In Nigeria

St. Ives Specialist Hospital has been honored as the Most Outstanding Fertility Hospital of the Year at the Dove Healthcare Awards 2024, organized by the Dove Healthcare Foundation.

The award ceremony, held at Hall 36, Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH on Friday, 6 December 6, was to celebrate excellence in healthcare delivery across various sectors.

Winners were picked through public polls with St. Ives Specialist Hospital emerged as the winner in the fertility category.

Reputed and renowned for its cutting-edge fertility treatment, alongside its other healthcare delivery services, St. Ives as a hospital brand has continued to push the boundary and set the standard for reproductive health service in Nigeria.

The recognition by the Dove Health Foundation further underscores the hospital’s unwavering dedication and commitment to helping families achieve their dreams of parenthood.

To further underscore its place of eminence among the top healthcare brands in Nigeria, St. Ives was listed among the frontline healthcare facilities in Nigeria by a special report written by a leading expert in healthcare in Nigeria, Dr. Femi Olugbile in collaboration with BusinessDay newspaper.

The report which was launched at Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos on Tuesday, 17 December featured prominent names in the healthcare sector like Dr. Sunny Kuku of Eko Hospitals, Dr. Dapo Majekodunmi of St. Nicholas Hospital, the Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Mrs. Kemi Ogunyemi, and the Chief Medical Director of Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Professor Adetokunbo O, Fabamwo.

The report provided an in-depth analysis of healthcare delivery in Lagos, examining both the business prospects of healthcare facilities and their quality of service.

According to the report, on Quality, it stated that “St. Ives has a Quality improvement infrastructure in place, and is certified Safe-Care Level 4.”

The report further states that “The rapid expansion of the brand while preserving its core essence, including its aesthetics and functionality, and also while remaining a private sole proprietorship depicts an interesting and unusual model in the Nigerian healthcare environment”.

St. Ives Hospital is a multi-specialist hospital that began operation in 1996.
