The ‘Fascists And Nattering Nitwits’ Aren’t Attracted To Facts…

The fascists and nattering nitw!ts, (apologies to Wole Soyinka), and their ilk are not attracted to facts and figures; they allow only their sentiments to massage their whims and caprices.
I have often alluded that I have no personal issue with Mr. Peter Obi, but the fact that he often misrepresents himself just to get undue ovation that’s not associated with his person frightens me.
I am an activist, and part of my responsibility is to oppose rascality and checkmate the excesses of those who want to lead.
In a recent tweet, Peter Obi claimed that he will continue to fight to reclaim their mandate; well, whatever that means to him and his headless mobs, they alone should wallow in it. Also, he claimed he’d solve the poverty problem of the country, starting from the North.
A quick peep into his records while the governor of Anambra State has countered all his claims.
In as much as his mobs are opposed to facts and figures, we must not shy away from stating the obvious.
The records, as can be seen from the NBS statistical publication, showed that the poverty rate of Anambra State before, during, and after the era of Peter Obi as governor between 2006 and 2014 was as follows:
2003 — 41.4%
2010 — 53.7%
2019 — 14.8%
Again, Anambra State was the 35th and last of the South Eastern States in ease of doing business before Peter Obi left office.
The unemployment rate in the state was high, above the national figure.
The administration of Peter Obi could only announce four hundred (400) million Naira as the state IGR despite her business clusters.
For 8 years, Peter could not turn around the misfortune of Anambra State in terms of poverty eradication, employment, or other intangibles.
This is the same man who wants to eradicate poverty in the North.
More painful is the fact that Peter Obi would not have been able to pay salaries in Anambra State if not for the support of Federal allocations, which were constant at the time given that the country was making so much from the sale of crude oil.
It has been confirmed that Nigeria does not have a debt issue but rather a revenue problem. It’s funny how a man who could not grow Anambra IGR beyond a paltry 400 million Naira being be able to solve Nigeria’s revenue problem and eradicate poverty in the North.
He parades the urchins of unthinking mobs and wishes to exploit their low level of intelligence with his puerile tales.
The unthinking mobs would come under comment to spew their regular line that he left 75 billion Naira for his successor, assuming without conceding that such is the case, although it has been established that such was untrue. However, it is utterly absurd for a two-term governor of eight years who wants to build a paradise for Nigeria and eradicate poverty in the North to claim that his only accomplishment in office was keeping an imaginary 75 billion Naira in the bank when the state is suffering from hunger and poverty-induced Kwashiorkor.
After watching our years of labor and national integration sacrificed by one greedy, selfish, treacherous, and pretentious Peter Obi, I think the few thinking Igbos should figure out strategies to reintegrate Southeast and Igbos back into Nigerian politics and not his many moonlight tales.
We must quickly establish bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood with other regions in order to reconstruct the torn-down wall.
