The Macallan, world-renowned whisky brand, has announced the successful launch of its latest private lounge at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria on 31 May.
This milestone marks the brand’s second lounge opening this year, following the successful opening of a luxury lounge at Kaly Restaurant and Bar, Lagos, in January.
Fresh off its 2023 recognition as the best-performing stock on the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX), Transcorp Hilton was announced as the ideal location for The Macallan Lounge.
The Lounge opening drew a discerning crowd – whisky patrons, Nigerian businessmen and women, HNIs, UHNIs, industry titans, and luxury lovers – such as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Transcorp Hotels Plc, Modupe Olusola; General Manager, Transcorp Hotels Plc, Jorg Potreck; Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh; Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun and Nigerian songwriter and performing artist, Precious Emmanuel to Abuja to experience the pinnacle of whisky sophistication.
The guests were also led through a curated selection of The Macallan whiskies by The Macallan Brand Educator and Ambassador, Abuja, Adeyinka Adepetun.
