The Shenanigans Of Disgruntled Political Elements To Stop Yayi From Contesting Will Fail – W2W4DA Movement

Posted on May 9, 2022

A sociopolitical group, W2W4DA Movement, said that it has come to their notice that some political elements within the All Progressives Congress in Ogun West Senatorial District of Ogun State are going round and monetarily inducing party members to sign a petition against the aspiration of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola to represent Ogun West at the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Reacting to the development, the W2W4DA Movement, through Dr. Kunle Salako, Central Chairman W2W4DA Movement and Prince Femi Dokunmu, Spokesperson, said,  “Our investigation shows that the action is being spearheaded by a former gubernatorial aspirant from Ogun West believes that it’s his birthright to always enjoy the support of Ogun West Political leaders. Actively collaborating in this destined to fail venture is another former gubernatorial candidate from Ogun West who could not even win his polling booth when he contested to become the Governor of our dear State”.
“The W2W4DA Movement is not perturbed by this desperate action but is coming out to inform the general public because we gathered that due to the resistance they are meeting among APC members and leaders in Ogun West, the promoters of the petition have resorted to the use of fake names and non-existent party members to give their petition a semblance of acceptance.”

“We will like to use this opportunity to reiterate that Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola is qualified to contest to represent Ogun West Senatorial District based on the constitution of Nigeria, the electoral act and the laws of the APC. We also submit that his becoming the candidate of the APC for the position and ultimately becoming Senator elect rests on the people and leaders of Ogun West Senatorial District. Those who are opposed to his aspiration should summon up courage to meet him on the political turf rather than looking for all means to stop him from participating.”

“The W2W4DA Movement will continue with our strategy of mass mobilization and personalised engagement which today has made Senator Adeola the number one aspirant for the seat of Senator of Ogun West.
Thank you and God bless!”
