A top politician and Managing Director, Trans World Motors Limited Occupiers, Amb.Dr.  David Oke Solomon’s secret lover and love child have been exposed following the ongoing litigation between his company and his landlord, Francis Iloka, over rent arrears at the Ojo Magistrates Court in Lagos State.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Dr. Solomon used his company, Trans World Motors Limited & Occupiers and rented a four-bedroom apartment for his mistress,  Felicia Olayinde, at Plot 2210, Number 9 Ausbeth Ajagu Street, by FESTAC First Gate,  Amuwo Odifin, Lagos, after he impregnated her and had a son, who he named Miracle.

The secret was said to have been kept  between Solomon and Felicia for many years until recently when he went to the Court with his landlord over his inability to pay arrears of rent for over two years to the tune of N1.6m.

The landlord, Iloka, was said to have repeatedly demanded for the rent payment from him to no avail and then went to the Court to take possession of the apartment and recover the arrears of rent.

The landlord, through his lawyer, Barrister Gladys Egbe, served Solomon’s company seven days notice through Felicia captioned: “Notice of owners Intention to apply to recover possession of the apartment to vacate on or before 31st March 2021”.

When our correspondent visited the house, Felicia Olayinde admitted that  she was served the quit notice and expressed fears that she might be thrown out from the apartment with her son if the matter was not resolved between the landlord and Solomon.

She narrated that she hails from Edo State and met Solomon some years ago  at FESTAC and had a son for him. She stated that he rented the apartment and kept them there and she does not go out or receive visitors as directed by Solomon since she started living in the apartment.

She also explained that Solomon told her that he was single but had not paid her bride price since he rented the apartment for her and her son.

On the contrary, findings revealed that Chief Solomon was married and had grown up children but it could not be ascertained if they had separated as at the time of filing this report.
When Solomon was contacted on his known phone number – 08033085479, he did not pick his calls.

Earlier, when the matter came up before the Court, the respondent admitted to be owning arrears of rent and asked for time to effect the payment.
However, the matter took another dimension on 29th April 2021, the respondent’s counsel, Barrister Bode  Oyeyemi, filed a motion before the Court stating that his client was not served seven days notice asking the Court to strike out the matter because the due process was not followed.
The Counsel to the landlord, Barr. Egbe, opposed the application on the ground that the respondent had admitted before the Court of owing arrears of rent and pleaded for time to effect the payment. She asked the Court to dismiss the motion because it has no merit.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. T. A.  Popoola, stated that no matter how  frivolous a motion before the Court, the Court was bond to hear the motion.
He then directed the claimant to respond on the motion before the Court would take decision on the matter and  adjourned till 8th April, 2022, for the claimant to respond to enable the Court to give judgement before the matter would continue.

Amb. Solomon is the founder of the National Democratic Liberation Task Force, DG, World Peace & Unity Organization Internacional and former DPP Vice Presidential Candidate.
