United African Methodist Church Holds 83rd Annual Delegates’ Conference

The 83rd Annual Conference of the United African Methodist Church (UAMC) Worldwide comes up in Igbogbo in the Igbogbo Bayieku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), of Lagos State from Thursday, January 23 to Sunday, January 26, 2025.

The theme of this year’s Conference is: “DIVINE REWARD” – Isaiah 65: 22.

According to the General Secretary (Administration), Bro. Ayo Bada, about 1000 delegates from churches under the Mission in Nigeria and Republic of Benin are expected to attend this year’s Conference.

He said the secretariat of the organization would move to Igbogbo on Thursday, January 23 while other officers are expected to arrive on Friday, January 24 for the commencement of the Conference.

The Special Guest of Honour at the Conference will be the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Moyosore Ogunlewe will open the Conference on Friday, January 24.

Highlights of the Conference will be the Installationof new Archbishops for the Organisation as well as presentation of awards to some deserving members on Sunday, January 26.

While the Syndicate Session of the Conference will hold on Friday, January 24, the proper Conference will hold on Saturday, January 25 with the Communion Service while the Thanksgiving Service and Installation of new Archbishops will hold on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
