OLATUNJI ARULAI FOLAMI is a core progressive politician who has over the past thirty (30) years been championing the progressive ideals and ethos under various progressive parties such as UPN, SDP, AD, AC, ACN and now APC. He has never waiver in his belief in the progressive principles and supremacy of the party unlike some politicians who have Criss Cross the progressive party into the conservative and back into the progressive party.

OLATUNJI ARULAI FOLAMI was born in Lagos Island and he is from Olowu and Folami descendants in Agarawu area.

He is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and a Project Management Professional with over 25years post qualification working experience. He has a Master’s degree (MBA) in Business Administration.He is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyor, member Association of Project Management (UK) and member, International Facility Management Association.

He has worked in many reputable companies and has considerable experience in ( Cost Engineering, Project Procurement, Estimating, Facilities Management and Project Management etc). He has received many recognition within his community and Lagos state, he is the Otunba of Shangisha, Magodo Kingdom.
He has worked, toiled and serve the party meritoriously for many years in the following capacity:

1) Assistant Zonal Secretary, UPN (Unity Party of Nigeria Ward B2) 1983.

2) Apex Leadership Member, Social Democratic Party (SDP) 1992 – 1993

3) Vice Chairman, All People’s Party, Lagos Island (1999)

4) Apex Leadership Member, Alliance For Democracy, Lagos Island (2000).

5) Lagos Island Local Government Chairmanship aspirant, Alliance for Democracy (AD) 2002.

6) Lagos State Director of Research and Strategy (ICG) for the election of Governor Raji Fashola 2007 & 2011.

7) House of Assembly Aspirant in 2014 under the All Progressive congress (APC)
