When Oba-Elect Olowolekomoh Buried Mother In Style

The Oba-elect of Odo Nla kingdom-Ikorodu, Lagos, Prince Olusoga Elias Adeyemi Olowolekomoh on Tuesday, buried his mother, Alhaja Falilat Titilayo Ebun Alake Olowolekomoh in a grand style.
Alhaja Olowolekomoh passed away at the age of 75, on February 13, 2023 and was buried the next day, February 14, according to Islamic rites at number 6, Oremolu Street, Ikorodu, Lagos.
The Fidua prayers which became a carnival on February 21 at the Soga Lekomoh International Event Centre, Plot 314, Lagos Road, Majidun, Ikorodu, Lagos, played host to dignitaries from far and wide especially with royal entourages of the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, the Fidipote Ruling House (Idewon Quarters) of Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Olootu Oba Meta, Chief Ekiyoyo among others.
The expansive Soga Lekomoh International Event Centre, at a point could not contain the surging crowd but the combined team of security operatives made up the Nigerian Army, Police, Civil Defence Corps as well as a private security outfit ensured that all went well without a hitch.
In his goodwill message, Oba-elect Olowolekomoh gave thanks to all who took time out to grace the occasion.
“On behalf of the entire family of Olowolekomoh, I express my profound gratitude and appreciations to all distinguished guests, elders, kins, colleagues, associates with specific references to the Omo’ba Meta Royal family members of Odo-Nla, Ikorodu, our root as Awujale descendants of Fidipote Royal family, Ijebu-Ode, HRM Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Lions Metropolitan Club, Ikorodu District, Obateru of Egbin represented, Ikorodu Council of Chiefs, Zenith Elders Charity Forum, friends and families of my Oloris, Nigeria Model High School, Idi Oro, Mushin-Lagos, my diaspora friends and families as well as other well wishers in general who honoured our family with their presence on the occasion of the eight days Fidau prayers/funeral event and celebrations of Late Alhaja Falilat Titilayo Ebun Alake Olowolekomoh (Iya Soga)
“God Almighty in his infinite mercies will honour you all, beautify your lives and keep us together in good health and longevity to survive our old parents to the glory of his name. Gbogbo wa la ma gbeyin Arugbo wa o. Amin ase Edumare!, Olowolekomoh said.”
