Yewaland Set To Honour Chief Kayode Odunaro As Majeobaje

On Saturday 7th May, 2022, all roads will lead to the ancient town of Ilaro, in Yewa South Local Government area of Ogun State as the Olu Ilaro and Paramount ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, will install Chief Kayode Odunaro as Majeobaje of Olu Ilaro-Yewa. 

Chief Odunaro, who is Baaroyin of Imala land, was honoured with the chieftaincy title for his services to Yewaland.

According to the letter of conferment, Chief Odunaro was considered for his contributions to the socio-economic development of Yewaland.

Odunaro was the Special Adviser on Communication to the former Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole.

He was a former Chief Press Secretary to former Ogun State Governor, Aremo Olusegun Osoba.

Previously, he had been the Chief Press Secretary to two Military Governors, Commodore Kayode Olofinmoyin Rtd, and Group Captain Sam Ewang Rtd.

He is currently the Media Adviser to the Senator, representing Lagos West, Senator Olamilekan Adeola Yayi.
