A 17-year old sex hungry boy has been arrested for allegedly forcing his joystick into a 7-year old girl’s private part in order to satisfy his sexual desire.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Idowu Fadeyi Street in Ayobo area of Lagos where they reside.

The suspect allegedly lured the 7-year old victim and removed her pant with threat to kill her if she resisted or raised alarm. He was said to have penetrated her forcefully, the victim was unable to bear the pain and her cries attracted their neighbours who caught them in the act.
The matter was reported to the police who arrested him and remanded him in custody. The case was later transferred to the Gender Section of the State Police Command.
During interrogation, he reportedly admitted that he did so to satisfy his sexual desire. The police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrates court for rape and threat to life.

He pleaded not guilty. The prosecutor, Inspector Christopher John, informed the court that both the defendant and the victim were minors.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Peter Nwaka, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
However, he was remanded in the remand home for minors pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
It was gathered that the defendant was granted bail because he was a minor but he will still face trial and if found guilty, he will be jailed accordingly. The names of the defendant and the 7-year old victim were withheld in line with the policy of P.M.EXPRESS.
