A 19-year old, Adebowale Eshunlokun, has landed in trouble after he was caught having sex with a 15-year old girl in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Baale Street in Sangotedo area of Lagos State, where they reside.
It was gathered that the suspect lured the victim into an apartment, fondled her breasts, got her confused, engaged her in sex romp without her consent and thereafter allowed her to go.
However, the sex romp was leaked to the victim’s parents, who confronted her and she revealed what actually happened and how the suspect lured her into the act.
The parents of the victim, who did not take the matter lightly, went to the Police and reported that the victim was raped.
The Police then arrested the suspect and detained him at the Station for investigation. He admitted that she was his girlfriend and they mutually had sex.

However, the Police found Eshunlokun culpable because of the age of the victim and charged him before the Ogba Magistrates court for defilement, which attracts several years imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty by the Court.
The Court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Supol Benson Emerhi, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs O. Sule-Amzat, ordered the defendant to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail.
The Court also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice.
The matter was adjourned till 19th October, 2019 for report of the DPP’s advice to be available. Thus, Eshunlokun will be in prison custody pending when DPP’s advice will be ready.
The defendant may be transferred to the High Court if the DPP finds him culpable and recommends that he should be tried for defilement as charged before the Court.
