A 40-year old man, one Sulaimon Musa, has been arrested in Lagos for allegedly engaging a 15-year old boy in anal sex over a period of four years.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Baale Street in Ajegunle area of Lagos where they reside.

It was gathered that Musa had been secretly engaging the victim in anal sex from when he was 11 years before it was exposed. He was said to have warned the victim not to tell anyone what they were doing, showered him with some gifts and the boy kept the secret for those years.

However, it got exposed as the victim reportedly came out from Musa’s apartment. He was confronted by his parents and he confessed. On close examination, it was discovered that the boy’s anus has been ruptured because of forceful penetrations by Musa.

The matter was reported to the police and Musa was arrested. The matter was later transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command for investigation.
After investigation, the police found Musa culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for sexual assault on the victim.
The court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Inspector Benson Emerhi, asked the court for the file to be sent to the DPP for advice because it involved a minor.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.Sule Amzat, ordered him to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail.
The court also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice.
Hence the defendant will be in prison custody pending when the report of the DPP’s advice will be ready.
