Man, 44, Rapes Boy, 15

A 44-year old man, one Taiwo Opaleke, who raped a 15-year old boy has reportedly confessed that he loved the boy and desired to have sex with him to satisfy his desire.

However, the action landed him in trouble as he has been arrested for engaging the 15-year old boy in anal sex.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at 8, Ileya Street off Bajulaye area in Shomolu, Lagos, where they reside.
It was gathered that Taiwo lured the victim to his apartment where he forced him to remove his clothes and penetrated the boy’s for sexual satisfaction. He was said to have rubbed a cream on his joystick which enabled him to have easy penetration but in the process he injured him.
The matter was reported to the Police in Shomolu who arrested Opaleke and transferred the matter to the Gender Section of the State Command for further interogation.
P.M.EXPRESS scooped that during interrogation, Opaleke confessed and pleaded for leniency as he was tempted to do so.
The police found him culpable and charged before Ogba Magistrates Court for rape.
The prosecutor, Supol Ayorinde, informed the court that it was a case of defilement because the victim was a minor and needed DPP advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O.Osunsanmi, did not take his plea and ordered him to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail
The court directed the prosecutor to send his file to the DPP for advice while the defendant will be in custody pending the outcome of DPP report.
The matter was adjourned till 6th February, 2019, when the court expected the DPP report will be ready.
The matter may be transferred to the High court if the DPP report finds him culpable and he may spend several years in prison if found culpable and convicted by the court.
