How Police Arrested Notorious Gang Leader, Terror During Operation

Facts have emerged on how suspected notorious robbery gang leader, Udenwa Ifeanyi, popularly known as Terror, was arrested during operation in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Terror, was apprehended by Policemen attached to Satellite Town Police station during discrete operation after he had escaped many traps.

The Police stated that the suspect and his gang had been on the Police wanted list for allegedly terrorising residents of Satellite Town, Amuwo-Odofin and Ijegun areas of Lagos State.
His arrest was disclosed by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, who explained that his arrest followed information that robbers had been seen on Akinlomide Street, Ijegun, while robbing shop owners and carting away their valuable belongings.
“Upon receipt of the information, operatives from the Satellite Town Police station and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad raced to the scene and were able to nab the ring leader, Udenwa Ifeanyi, alias Terror.
Bala said while interrogation was on progress, the suspect confessed that his gang had been terrorising residents of Satellite Town and its neighborhood.
“Operatives were able to recover some items from him such as; Four cartridges and a cut-to-size gun.”
“Policemen are currently on a manhunt to fish out his robbery gang members” Bala said.

He said that the suspect will be charged before the Court after the conclusion of investigation for armed robbery which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty.
