100 Days In Office: Orashi National Congress Commends LGA Chairmen For Good Governance

The Orashi National Congress (ONC), the apex socio-cultural, socio-economic, and political advocacy group representing the Orashi region, has expressed profound gratitude to the Local Government Chairmen of Orashi region for good governance. 

 

In a statement signed by its President General, Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe (JP AP), the ONC lauded the efforts of the Executive Chairmen of the four Local Government Areas within the Orashi region:

– Hon. Chibudhom Rizzy Ezu Hezekial, Executive Chairman of Ahoada East LGA,
– Hon. Iyekor Ikporo, Executive Chairman of Ahoada West LGA,
– Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru, Executive Chairman of ONELGA, and
– Hon. Vincent Obu, Executive Chairman of Abua/Odual LGA, within 100 days in office.

 

The Congress also extended its appreciation to the Police Area Commanders, the Forward Operating Base (FOB) Commander, the Joint Task Force (JTF) Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), heads of security agencies, and the region’s traditional leaders for their dedication to maintaining law and order throughout the period under review.

 

“The ONC has passed a vote of total confidence on you all based on your performances so far.”

“Your leadership, proactive approach to addressing security challenges, and unwavering commitment to fostering peace have made life more meaningful for the people of the Orashi region just within your one hundred days in office” the ONC stated.

 

The ONC praised the collaborative efforts of government officials, security personnel, and traditional rulers in safeguarding lives and properties, which enabled residents to enjoy the peace and security in safety and tranquility.

 

“As leaders and custodians of our communities, your selfless service has brought great pride and honour to the Orashi region,” Amb. Comr. Emeni Ibe stated.

 

“We are truly privileged to have you as our LGA Chairmen and leaders, and we are inspired by your relentless dedication to the well-being of our people.”

 

The Congress further reiterated its commitment to supporting efforts that promote peace, unity, and socio-economic development in the Orashi region.

 

This commendation and vote of confidence on the Orashi LGA Chairmen and the visionary leadership of His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara, the Executive Governor of Rivers State, highlights the importance of collective leadership and cooperation in fostering harmony and development across the region and the State.

 

As the Orashi region looks forward to more better governance in the remaining days of the administration, the ONC hopes that they continue to build on this foundation of even development, peace and security.
