2 Women Docked For Stripping Lady Naked Publicly During Brawl

Two women, Uche Obioma, 37 and Obiageri Enechide, 40, have been arrested and charged in Lagos State for allegedly beating a lady, Chukwuma Chineye, stripping her naked in public and recording her nudes. 

 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 8th February, 2025, at Shibiri, Ojo area of Lagos, where they reside.

According to the Police,  the women and the complainant had a disagreement over an undisclosed matter, which led to a physical fight between them and the victim.

During the fight, the women tore her clothes and asked one of their sisters to record her nudes threatening to post it on social media.

 

The matter was reported to the Police at Ilembe Hausa Division. The women were arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over their alleged conduct.

 

After interrogation, the Police found them culpable and consequently charged them before the Ojo Magistrate Court for the alleged offence.

 

The charges read:

“That you, Uche Obioma and Obiageri Emechide ‘f, on the 8th day of February, 2025, at about 0700hrs at Shibiri, Ojo, Lagos State, in the Ojo Magisterial District, did conduct yourselves in a manner likely to cause a breach of the peace by assaulting, one Chukwuma Chineye ‘f stripping her naked and asking your sister Obiageri Emechide ‘f to video her threatening to send the video to all social media platforms, and thereby committed an fence punishable under Section 166(d) of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.”

 

COUNT II:”That you, Uche Obioma ‘m’ and Obiageri Emechide ‘f, on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned Magisterial District, did assault one Chukwuma Chineye ‘f by hitting her with a stick and giving her fist blows all over her body, which caused her various degrees of injury, and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 172 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.”

 

COUNT III: “That you, Uche Obioma ‘m’ and Obiageri Emechide ‘f, on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned Magisterial District, did wilfully damage the shirt and skirt of one Chukwuma Chineye ‘f valued Six Thousand Naira (N6,000.00) and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 339 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015.”

 

However, they pleaded not guilty.

 

The prosecutor, Supol Simeon Uche, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since they pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that they actually committed the alleged offence.

 

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.M. Ogun, granted them bail with two sureties, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment while addresses will be verified by the Court.

 

The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendants were remanded in custody at the correctional center pending when they will perfect their bail conditions.
