It was victory all the way for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikeja Polling Unit 043 as the Lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK), successfully delivered his polling unit for all the APC candidates.
Results from the polling unit shows that for the Presidential election, the APC polled 83 votes, while PDP and LP scored 14 and 64 respectively.
For the Senatorial election, APC scored 98; PDP 52 and LP 0.
While for House of Representatives, APC garnered 92; PDP 23 and LP 44.
This feat was also replicated at other nearby Polling Units.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after casting his ballot, Hon. Kasunmu said, “First of all we give glory to the most high God for making today possible. Nigeria is at the threshold of history and I am glad that so far so good, the election has been free and peaceful. We must give kudos INEC to a good performance in this election. This is my Constituency and 043 is my polling unit.  I have just casted my votes and the process was fast and hitch-free”.
“Of course, I have just voted for my dear Father, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the Presidential. I voted for our dear Sisi West, Dr. Adebule for Senate and Hon. Abiodun Faleke for House of Reps. And all my people here have done same because we believe in their sound leadership. At the end of the exercise, we are hoping for a resounding victory for APC from top to bottom.”
APC candidates also won in other neighbouring polling units around the vicinity.
