2023: Gov Uzodimma Interacts With APC Party Officials, Charges Them To Remain Faithful To Progressive Ideals

As the 2023 general elections draw nearer, the Governor and leader of the party in Imo State, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, in his usual proactive leadership disposition had a strategic meeting with officers of the party across various levels in the state.
Addressing a cross section of  principal officers of the Ward Executive Committees, LGA members, Zonal and State Executive Committee of the party, Uzodimma reiterated the commitment of his shared prosperity administration to meet the genuine concerns and aspirations of the people of the state.
The Governor, who maintained that in spite of the obvious sabotage and distractions occasioned by seemingly politically motivated insecurity concerns in some parts of the state, assured that his administration has through prudent and diligent management of resources within the very modest of time,  made significant impact in all critical sectors of the economy, with undivided attention to road rehabilitation and reconstruction.
Speaking further, the Governor, who condemned in its entirety the current security challenges in the state, however, insisted that some unpopular politicians with inordinate ambitions are using the ugly situation as political strategy to intimidate members of APC at various levels and distract the government from the real issues of governance.
While reassuring party men and women of government’s efforts to ensure maximum security of lives and properties of citizens before, during and after the elections, he commiserated with immediate families of party members and citizens, who lost their lives to sponsored insecurity oddities.
The members of the party who were strongly and obviously motivated,  re – energized and invigorated with the assurances of the governor, expressed satisfaction and confidence with the leadership of the party under Uzodimma.
Responding on behalf of the party, the Chairman, Hon. Macdonald Ebere, PhD, extolled the governor for his maturity, statemanship and sense of discipline with unequaled dedication and passion for quality service delivery in piloting the affairs of the state.
He further reassured the governor of the undivided loyalty and solidarity of officers of the party, while thanking him for his uncommon magnanimity.
Also, the immediate past caretaker committee chairman of the party in the state, Prince Marcellinus Nlemigbo (Marcon), commended the governor for enhancing the fortune of the party in the state through his numerous people oriented projects and regular interface with the relevant organs of the party.
In the entourage of the governor were, the Deputy Governor, Prof Placid Njoku, the Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly, Barr. Emeka Nduka and other members of the legislature; the Secretary to the state government, Chief Cosmos Iwu; Chief of Staff, Government House, Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie; Chief Political Adviser, and Secretary, APC Campaign Council, Barr. Enyinna Onuegbu, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy, Mrs. Ruby Emele, the APC senatorial candidate for Owerri zone, Prince Dr. Alex Mbata among others.
