2023 Orlu Senate: Ahize Kicks Off Campaign In Isu, Nkwerre & Njaba As Royal Fathers, Communities Assure Him Of 100% Support

The Labour Party Senatorial candidate for Orlu Zone in the February 25, 2023 general elections, Chief Charles Ahize (Akpuruka n’Orlu), has kicked off his campaign rally in lsu, Nkwerre and Njaba Local Government Areas of the State. This is even as the Labour Party candidate received the blessings of the entire Royal fathers and assurances from the President Generals (PGs) and community leaders of the Council areas visited respectively to vote 100 percent for Ahize and other Labour Party candidates.
 
Speaking at the event, Chief Ahize told the people that his aspiration is based on ideology and not the business as usual attitudinal disposition, urging the people of lsu, Nkwerre and Njaba sister LGAs to help change the narratives by voting all LP candidates during the February 25 showdown.
He enjoined the people to ensure that they contribute to changing the present precarious situation Nigeria and Orlu zone in particular and change the situation they found themselves by voting Peter Obi, himself and other Labour Party candidates at the polls. Akpuruka n’Orlu assured them that the forthcoming election will not be rigged as usual, maintaining that they should not be deceived by the usual story that elections will be manipulated by political party in power, noting that BVAS must have helped to dismiss the fears, charging them to come out in their numbers to do Labour Party proud on the election day.
As it were, the campaign train of Chief Ahize had landed in lsu LGA, Tuesday, February 7, 2023, where he met with the traditional rulers of the Council at the palace of HRH Eze B. C. Osuala, Okwaraezeobi of lsu and the Chairman of the Council of traditional rulers of lsu LGA, where all the royal fathers were fully present to receive their acclaimed illustrious son, Ahize.
However, the campaign train engaged the lsu stakeholders in a town hall meeting at Amukpara, Ezealaire hall in lsu LGA, where there was healthy interaction. Later on, Chief Ahize and team moved to lsu Central School, where all the wards in the Council had patiently waited for the train to receive their son, Chief Ahize.
Addressing the monarchs, party leaders, stakeholders and the mammoth crowd of men, women, youths and various support groups of lsu, Chief Charles Ahize announced his plan to attract the first ever Federal University institution in lsu, vowing that immediately he is announced winner through the people’s votes on February 25, outside his plans to attract a higher institution in the area, he will also commence plans to establish first class Skills Acquisition Centres, as well as cooperatives society for farmers and others, in order to boost the economy in lsu area. Also, according to him, he will bring back peace, which he argued is now at large in Orlu zone, among other achievable promises.
Earlier, the Director General and spokesperson of Chief Charles Senatorial Campaign Organization, Chief Sir Charles Chukwudi Ubah and Chief Dr Batos Nwadike (Oyi of Igboland), had announced to the people that they came to present a good market to the entire lsu people to adopt him as their next Senator through their votes on February 25.
According to the duo, who spoke to the admiration of the crowd at the rally,  Chief Ahize’s election will not only mark the end of the ravaging insecurity in the land, as he is said to have the magic wand to achieve that through reconciliatory measures and he will also  recover Orlu zone in all spheres. They enjoined royal fathers to see the next general election as an important assignment that will bring succour to them and their subjects and also enthrone a new order in governance and challenged them to go out of their shelves to mobilize their subjects to actualize the new order in Nigeria and Orlu zone. They disclosed that Chief Ahize’s antecedents have remained his selling points.
The community leaders, including the royal fathers, PGs and men, women, artisans, traders and the academics of lsu extraction in unison, described Ahize as a man who is long known for large heart, who watches his brother’s back at all times, stressing the 2023 election involving his likes and Peter Obi is an opportunity they cannot afford to miss, assuring him of their full support at the polls.
It was a similar scenario at Nkwerre, Wednesday, February 8, 2023 when the train landed at the area.The first port of call, homage to the traditional rulers of Nkwerre, at the palace of HRH Eze Joel Udenkwo, Ezwudo 1 of Ishiala Umudi, Nkwerre LGA. The royal fathers gave good testimonies of Chief Charles Ahize.
Later on, the train shifted to Umuduruonaribe, Owerre Nkworji, Nkwerre for a town hall meeting. Chief Ahize and team sold the intimidating antecedents of Akpuruka and the new order in view to the people of Nkwerre. They made it point blank that what the Igbo people need is Peter Obi as President and not Senate President as projected by his opponents in the zone.
Responding, the traditional rulers said they have known Akpuruka for years as a good man, expressing delight that the LP candidate surrounds himself with men  and women of integrity. They averred that Ahize’s ambition is divine.
“We have stayed long in Egypt! We all follow Ahize to lead us to the promised land” Nkwerre leaders enthused.
Speaking at the rally held at Ezeala-odu village square, the Ahize campaign team further held to her campaign slogan of recovering Orlu zone, especially ensuring the people stop being refugees in their own land.
“If you can be bold to vote Labour Party on February 25, you would have succeeded in getting it right”, the team maintained.
Precisely yesterday, Thursday, February 9, 2023, team Charles Ahize stormed Njaba LGA to unveil the LP senatorial candidate to the people of Njaba.
First, was a homage and interface with the traditional rulers in area, who upon receiving the Senatorial hopeful and  hearing the good programmes, said Chief Ahize is a man who has sacrificed a lot for his Orlu people and lgbo race as a whole. The monarchs affirmed that God has given Ahize favour in 2023, as they pledged not to disappoint him while granting him and his team the freedom to go Njaba streets to canvass for votes. This is even as Chief Ahize had earlier  assured the royal fathers of recovering Orlu from insecurity that has pervaded them overtime. He said he will achieve that seven days of his victory, come February. He regretted that Ezes are now in exile, stressing that he will achieve peace by consultation and not with bullets.
In a town hall/stakeholders meeting with Njaba people, Chief Ahize reassured to attract Government presence in the area, which he said has been lacking in the area over decades of democracy.
Speakers upon speakers at the rallies endorsed the choice of Ahize for the Senatorial seat. Among the stakeholders at the events included party leaders, stakeholders, community leaders, civil society groups among others.
