2026 EDGE Awards: Glovo Nigeria, Reni Onafeko, Bag Digital Commerce Honours

Glovo, a leading multi-category technology company, has been recognised as the EDGE Outstanding Digital Commerce Platform of the Year at the 2026 EDGE Awards held on Friday, 25 September 2026, at Ten Degrees Event Hall, Oregun, Lagos.

The company’s General Manager, Reni Onafeko, was also named EDGE Outstanding Digital Commerce Business Personality of the Year.

Organised by Marketing Edge, the awards recognised Glovo’s contribution to Nigeria’s digital commerce ecosystem, as well as Onafeko’s professional accomplishments and role in advancing digital commerce in the country.

Speaking on the recognitions, Onafeko attributed Glovo’s growth in Nigeria to a focus on local needs: expanding its reach, broadening the selection of local businesses on the platform and continually improving the experience. These efforts are helping Glovo serve more customers while creating new sales opportunities for local businesses.
