2nd Victor Ikpeba Football Challenge Kicks Off In Warri

The second edition of the Victor Ikpeba Football Challenge will officially flag off today at the Army Day Secondary School, Effurum, Warri with 20 Under-17 teams in Delta state participating.

The draws of the Five-A-Side soccer competition aimed at giving back to Nigeria was held yesterday in Warri.

With the schedule of the competition which would see the first round played on knock out basis, the first game will see Golden Albion battle against Justice FC at 8am, while Odibo Fc Utd take on Golden Friends at 8:45am.

The match between Ichofe Wonderers and Delta Warriors comes up at 9:30am, at same venue.

Other first round matches will see Godspenal Fc vs Lord Mark F.A – 10:15am, Delta Rovers vs Delta Whales -11:00am. Sporting Fc vs Orion Fc -11:45am, Champion’s Cathedral Fc vs Great Avangers Utd -12:30pm.

Other games will see FC Planners vs Lord Marks Fc at 1:15pm, Fc Galaxy vs Great Avengers Fc -2pm and the last game of Day One of competition will see Great Stars battle against Precious Fc at 2:45pm.

The Tournament Director, 2nd Victor Ikpeba Football Challenge Warri 2022, Marvel Dick, stated Tuesday after the draws that, all FIFA 5-A-Side rules will be applied during the competition that holds between December 21st and 23rd.
