3 Men Docked For Using N1.3m Fake Bank Alerts To Eat & Engage Ladies In S*x In Hotel

Police operatives from the Ejigbo Division have arrested three suspects in a popular hotel in Lagos for allegedly using N1.3m fake bank credit alerts to get food and engage ladies in sex romp.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Grand Park Hotel & Suites Limited located at Segun Akinbolu Street off Ailegun Road, Bucknor area of Ejigbo, Lagos.
The suspects were alleged to have lodged in the hotel between 12th October and December 2022, and ate different kinds of food while engaging different ladies in sex, allegedly paying the bills with fake bank alerts to the tune of N1.3m.
However, the whole scam got exposed after the hotel management verified from their bank and it was confirmed that they were using fake bank alerts to pay their bills at the hotel.
The matter was reported to the Police; they were then arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over their criminal conduct.
After thorough interrogation, the Police found them culpable and subsequently charged them before the Ejigbo Magistrate Court for the alleged offence.
They pleaded not guilty when they were arraigned.
The prosecutor, Inspector Simeon Njue, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since they pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that they actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. A.K. Dosumu, granted them bail in the sum of N200,000 each with two sureties in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood.
The matter was adjourned till 17th January, 2023, for mention while the defendants were remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when they will perfect their bail conditions.
