It appears that there is no hiding place for cult members following the earlier warning by the Ogun State  Commissioner of Police, Alamutu Abiodun, for them to renounce cultism and repent or they will be arrested in the State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Police operatives from the Ogun State Command have arrested three suspected hitmen of Eiye Confraternity  while preparing for an operation inside the school premises.
The suspects, Dakwo Micheal Jackson, Joel Obieva and Oluwaseun Bamideke, were caught planning for an operation around Joju, Sango/Ota area of the State and they confessed that they were members of the cult group.
This was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, who said that the suspects were in Police custody undergoing interrogation over their alleged conduct in the State.
The image maker stated that the Police arrested the suspects following credible information provided by an anonymous citizen and the Divisional Police Officer of Sango Ota, CSP Saleh Dahiru, led his anti-robbery team to the School premises and arrested them while planning their illegal activities at the said area.
During interrogation, the arrested persons confessed that “they were part of a larger gang of Eiye Confraternity, comprising five members, with their leader still at large.
Odutola stated that the men intended to meet at the school before carrying out their planned operation, saying the swift action of the Sango Police helped apprehend them “before they could execute their nefarious plans”.
She maintained that the Police are making efforts to track down the fleeing suspects while the suspects will likely be charged before the Court for their alleged conduct for prosecution but that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
The Commissioner of Police in the State had earlier gave amnesty to members of secret groups to turn a new leaf or relocate elsewhere otherwise the Police will fish them out anywhere they were hiding. It appears that the Police boss may have lived up to his threats to minimize cult activities to the barest level in the State.
