6 Hot Treats This Week On GOtv

As we countdown to the festive season, there’s still so much to enjoy this November on GOtv with a great selection of thrilling action movies, spell binding romance, local dramas and exciting TV shows.

Here’s a list of 6 movies and series showing this week on GOtv.

1. Top on the list is Olufokotan, a drama and suspense filled movie, centered around a couple whose marriage gets tested when the man’s neglect drives his wife into an extra marital affair. Showing on Friday 20 November at 7pm on Africa Magic Yoruba (channel 5)

2. This is 40 is a candid and heartwarming comedy that centers around Pete and Debbie, who are both about to turn 40 and mired in a mid-life crisis with unruly kids, debt and unhappiness mounding and struggling to come to terms with getting older. Showing on Saturday 21 November at 8:30pm on Mnet Movies 4(channel3) 

3. Looking for straight up action to get you pumped, watch Stolen. This thrilling action movie follows a former thief as he frantically searches for his missing daughter who has been kidnapped and locked in the trunk of a taxi. Showing on Sunday 22 November, 8pm onMnet Movies 4(channel3)

4. TV shows are definitely fun to watch!  Dr 90210 season 1 is showing on E! (channel 26) on Sunday at 7pm. Check out how Beverly hills top female surgeons get people tight, tucked, fit and fabulous. Also, on E! is Celebrity Game Face, where Kevin Hart and his wife Eniko return to host the game show featuring various celebrities. This shows on Sundays at 8 pm. 

5. If you love telenovela, this is also a fave on the list! Kaabil shows the blissful lives of Supriya and Rohan, a visually impaired couple.  Supriya commits suicide after she was raped by men with political links and her husband Rohan vows to take revenge. Showing on Saturday at 2 pm on StarLife (channel 23)

6. In search of local entertainment, Maid of Honor is showing on ROK GH (channel 18) at 8pm on Saturday. The movie follows the life of a lady who after the tragic death of her sister, moves in with her sister’s husband.
