How 2 Men R*ped Girl, 14, Kept In Captivity For 2 Months
CYRIACUS IZUEKWE

Police operatives from Area G Command, Ogba, have rescued a 14-year old girl, who was allegedly abducted and raped while in captivity for two months in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ishola Street, Oko-Oba area of Lagos, where they reside.
One of the suspects, Aliu Ibrahim, has been arrested and charged before the Court for abduction and defilement while his accomplice escaped and now at large.
The Police alleged the two suspects to have abducted the girl between August and October, 2021 and kept inside a house, where they reportedly engaged her in sex one after the other while the parents of the girl were looking for her as she was declared missing as a person by the Police.
However, the whole thing leaked and Police were informed by the parents of the girl. The Police then trailed, arrested Ibrahim and detained him at the Command for interrogation.
After thorough interrogation, the Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for conspiracy, abduction and defilement, which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court of law.
When arraigned, the Court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Mr. Victor Eruada, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice since the victim is a minor.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O. Tanimola, ordered his remand in correctional centre at Kirikiri area of Lagos pending the outcome of DPP’s advice.
The Court also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP. The report will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
The matter was adjourned till 10th December, 2021, for the report of the DPP to be available.
