NDLEA Lagos State Command Gets New Commander

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Lagos State, has a new State Commander, in the person of Barr. Alumona O. Calys.

Barr. Alumona O. Calys took over from Barr. Ralph Igwenagu N. and assumed duty on Wednesday 10th November, 2021.

According to Mallum Musa, PRO, NDLEA Lagos State, during a brief hand over ceremony and taking over the mantle of leadership between him and the outgoing Commander at the State Headquaters of the NDLEA at Ikoyi, where all the management officers were in attendance, the outgoing Commander, Barr. Ralph Igwenagu, commended the officers and men of the Command for giving him the support and cooperation. He maintained that during his tenure, he enjoyed a solid working relationship with the State Government and all the Sister Secutry Agencies in Lagos.


In his response, the incoming Commander also maintained that he is going to build on the currrent tempo. He solicited for such cooperation to be extended to him.

Barr. Alumona O. Calys said that in the recent past, an operation was carried out at Mushin, where huge seizures and arrests were made, which made headlines in all media, that he will like a repeat of such operation to welcome him.

Before his posting to Lagos, Barr. Alumona Calys was the State Commander Ondo State Command while the outgoing Commander, Barr. Igwenagu has been posted to Bayelsa State Commander as Commander there.
