Ifelodun LCDA To Host Its Maiden Edition Of Carol & Nine Lessons

The Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Council Development Area, Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, will be hosting the maiden edition of Carol and Nine Lessons, on Sunday, December 19, 2021, by 3:00pm inside Signal Barracks, Mile 2, Lagos State.

In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the council chair, Mr Kamaldeen Iyanda Abdulsalam, he said: “Christmas season is a period in which Christians all over the world look forward to with high anticipation and relish. It is indeed a time for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, and a period of sober reflection among Christians everywhere. It is a time to express our gratitude to the Highest for His divine intervention in Ifelodun LCDA”.

The maiden edition of the event will feature the “Oniduro Crooner” Adeyinka Alaseyori, the Ifelodun Community Choir, Praise O’Clock, Yomi Ikuesan, Asa Jesus among others.

Mr Abdulsalam opined that Hon Okeowo, has concluded every arrangement for the maiden edition to be a memorable event with the expected turnout of notable dignitaries from Lagos State.

The Chief Host for the event is the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Mrs Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.

The esteemed residents of Ifelodun LCDA, traditional rulers, presidents of market unions, corporate groups, members of the clergy, religious organizations, market men and women, students and the public are by this invited to participate in this soul-lifting maiden edition of the event.
“Come and let us worship the Lord and sing hymns unto His praise as we await the joyful coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ” he said.
