Posted on December 2, 2021

As part of the activities to make the final day of the 2021 Asisat Oshoala Football4girls Tournament a unique event, a medical day programme has been put in place for the participating girls, the organisers have said.

The medical health day will be anchored by Mrs Uzoma Ezeoke, the Executive Director of Emzor Pharmaceutical, Lagos, one of the sponsors of the tournament.

P.M. EXPRESS reports that the health talks will centre around how the girl-child could live a healthy life, while sanitary pads will also be distributed to all the participants.

The medical health day is tagged “Give out a pad, save the girl-child.”

The football4girls project has been an event of the Asisat Oshoala Foundation, which is a pet project of the Captain of Nigeria’s Super Falcons, Spain-based Asisat Oshoala.

The event is in its 6th edition this year. It has been a three-day tourney, which featured among other things mentorship sessions, life skills and medical programmes.

The event is proudly sponsored by Emzor Pharmaceuticals, UBA Foundation, and Molped sanitary pad.

The winners of the tournament will go home with a huge cash prize, while the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament will have the opportunity of travelling for education and exposure in football.
