Nigerian Businessman Launches Charitable Foundation To Help Widows, Orphans

Emmanuel Eduru, a Nigerian entrepreneur and Brand Partners with Longrich International, on Sunday launched a charitable foundation to promote the welfare and economic empowerment of disadvantaged widows and the education of their children.
The event, which also had a book launch titled “Made In Warri”, took place at the Detutu Event Place in the Ogudu area of Lagos, Nigeria’s economic hub, drew an unprecedented crowd of families, friends, and business partners, including captains of industries, who came gaily dressed in different colourful attires to show support and raise funds to kickstart the project.
In a welcome address, Eduru said the foundation was established to reach out to widows, orphans, and less privileged children.
While noting that the work ahead is enormous, he appealed to his audience to find a place in their hearts for the less privileged women and children.
In the book, the business consultant told the gathering that his focus was to help guide others towards the path of fulfilling their dreams in business, especially one that has to do with multilevel marketing.
He told his audience that the book is a manual of excellence for anybody who dares to dream of conquering the world in which they exist.
“While pursuing my own dreams, I have had to rely on mentors who helped me towards fulfilling my dreams. This made me believe and appreciate the role of a mentor towards the success of any dream, “he added.

The Chairman of the occasion, Ignatius Onyema, urged Nigerians to donate in cash and kind, no matter how small, to a cause that will raise the social and economic level of women, especially widows, in the country.
He commended the vision of Eduru’s Foundation for bringing joy, good health, and sustainable development to the doorsteps of widows and their children.
The event was spiced with comedy acts by popular comedian Akpos, who left the guests in stitches with his wisecracks
