Ozigbo Commiserates With Maduka Family As Charity Maduka Is Laid To Rest

Valentine Ozigbo, the flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2021 Anambra governorship election, on January 4, 2022, joined friends, family and acquaintances to pay last respects to Mrs Charity Maduka as she was laid to rest.
Mrs Maduka was the wife of billionaire business mogul Dr Cosmas Maduka and served as the Vice-President of Coscharis Group. She was 63 years old when she passed peacefully on November 27, 2021.

At the burial ceremony, which took place at the Maduka family residence in Umudim, Nnewi, Dr Maduka recalled the 43-year marriage and the pain of his wife’s death.
“From the beginning of our journey, God faithfully led us for 43 years of love in an intimate relationship until November 27, 2021, when you peacefully went to sleep in the Lord,” Dr Maduka said.

“This date has become like 9/11 in my life, as I was obviously under heavy attack because that is what your sudden departure means to me.
“The love we shared, however, gave birth to the institution that is today known as the Coscharis Group, and most importantly, the loving gift of five wonderful children,” Dr Maduka added.
In his condolence message, Mr Ozigbo expressed sadness over the loss of Mrs Maduka and prayed for the bereaved family.
“My heart goes out to the Maduka family, especially my good friend, Dr Cosmas Maduka, who is like a role model to me,” Ozigbo, a respected business leader, said.

“Mrs Charity’s loss saddens me, and I have come to pay my last respect to her. She lived an extraordinary life, and we can all testify to the love and care she exuded while she lived, and we will miss her for these virtues.
“I pray that God grants her family the fortitude to bear the loss,” Ozigbo prayed.
