Ahead Pre Season Tourney: MS Success Hold Tradesafe Sport To Barren Draw

MS Success Football Club of Mushin on Wednesday put up an impressive performance as they held a Lagos based amateur one club, Tradesafe Sport Football Club of Ikeja to a barren draw in a friendly match played at NYSC Camp football pitch, Iyana-Ipaja, Alimosho, Lagos.
The friendly match was put together to prepare both teams for future football competitions. MS Success who just resumed back from training used the friendly to prepare themselves for Extra Quality Pre- Season football competition scheduled to commence next Thursday at Eko Boys High School, Mushin.
On the other hand, Tradesafe Sport also used the friendly to test their newly recruited players ahead of amateur one season which begins March.
The friendly match lived up to expectation as both teams gave a good account of themselves. The two teams missed a lot of scoring chances in the encounter which was watched by few spectators.
Kudos should be given to MS Success defenders who stopped their opponents to find the back of the net throughout the duration. Poor finishing also denied Mushin boys who failed to convert their ample opportunities against their opponents.
Reacting to the game, MS Success head coach, Musbau Oseni said he was satisfied with his team’s performance but worried about the team inability to convert their chances.
“It was a tough match for my boys. I must commend them for their performance but we still need to work on our strikers. We created some scoring chances unfortunately we could not convert the chances,” he said.
In his own comment, MS Success assistant coach, Tayo Orogbemi admitted that his team lacked quality strikers to bury the game in the last minute saying that the coaching crew would work hard to bring solution to the attacking line before their pre- season tournament.
