We’ve Been Used & Abandoned, Says Pro-Buhari Group

Posted on January 15, 2022

A Pro-President Muhammadu Buhari group, the Buhari Osinbajo Youth Support Movement, BOYSM, across the country has called on the President and Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, to take them out of bondage, saying members have been used and dumped.

The Coordinator of Buhari Osinbajo Youth Support Movement, BOYSM, Snr. Comrade Emeni Ibe, made the call over the weekend shortly after their meeting in Port Harcourt

According to him, it became highly imperative to draw the attention of President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, to the condition of BOYSM members in the country.

He said during BSO’ BOYSM’s series of meetings, members understood that they were sidelined in reaping from what they sowed.

According to him, “It’s highly regrettable that BOYSM members are only roaming the streets and gradually becoming bond creditors since the election and swearing in of the President in 2015.and 2019 respectively”.

“We are seriously in bondage despite our hope in awaiting the delivery of pledges made by the President and Vice President during the campaign rallies.”

“It’s quite unfortunate that presently, no single State Governor, Minister, Special Advisers or any government appointee is assisting the organisation in the country. We are swimming in abject poverty as our offices have expired.”

“It is sad to note that instead of carrying members, who served as their ladder along, they replaced them with their relatives and family members.”

“BOYSM members’ integrity is at stake since we cannot even raise our shoulders above our opposition members as we have become their object of laughter.”

“We did a lot in the prevention of any act of wrangling among APC members and among others. The present rancour in APC is due to the ‘I don’t care’ attitude of members, who suffered for the party.

We appeal to the Presidency to carry us along; no audience and appointment with us, not a good development ahead of 2023 general elections” Comrade Emeni Ibe, who doubles as the National President Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria, and Chairman BOT Coalition of Niger Delta Youth Leaders, Deputy Coordinator, Buhari Support Organization South concluded at the press briefing.
