We Appreciate Your Work In Anambra Central – Catholic Priest Tells Ekwunife

The Parish Priest of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Nibo, Rev. Fr. Sylvester Dunu, has appreciated the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, for her conscientious and sustainable infrastructural development.  

Speaking on Saturday, January 22, 2022, during the inspection of the ongoing St. Theresa Catholic Church Road, Nibo, the cleric lauded the lawmaker for ameliorating the sufferings of the constituents and ensuring that their yearnings were addressed through delivering dividends of democracy. He commended Ekwunife for attracting the ongoing road project.

 Speaking further, Fr. Dunu described the road as an economic project, adding that the road links the community with communities such as Nise, Umuawulu and Awka. He noted that the road is one of the most widely used roads in the community and encouraged the contractor to ensure the completion of the project before the rainy season. 

 Addressing, Ekwunife noted that her commitment towards a legislative agenda aimed at improving the quality of lives of the people remained unwavering. She said that the numerous completed and ongoing developmental projects across the zone were for the best interest of the constituents. 

The performing Senator, who was represented by a delegation of her project team led by Anambra State former Commissioner of Women Affairs, Lady Henrietta Agbata, assured the timely completion of the ongoing projects. While commending the Senator, Mr. Ugo Michael Chukwma noted that Ekwunife had shown dedication in representation and interest in the general good of the constituents and public. He further encouraged the contractor to execute the project within the time frame.

 Also, the community PDP Ward I Women Leader, Mrs. Lucy Rose, described Ekwunife as “Madam Project”, adding that constituents are ready to give her another mandate to continue with her excellent representation in the National Assembly.
