How Police Rescued 2 Young Ladies Kept In Captivity For S*xual Satisfaction

Police operatives from the Idimu Division have rescued two young ladies, who were allegedly induced and kept in captivity for sexual satisfaction in Lagos State. 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the ladies were rescued at Abdulsalim Street, Isheri Olofin area of Lagos, where they were said to be undergoing treatment for the trauma.

The 30-year old man, Shittu Samson Deen, has been arrested for the alleged abduction and detaining of the victims by inducing them for the purpose of sexual satisfaction. 

The Police did not state how he induced them before he detaining them for the purpose of sleeping with them for days.

During interrogation, Samsondeen denied that he abducted and detained the ladies and said that they stayed there on their own, which the victims denied insisting that they were induced and detained for sex. 

The Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before the Ejigbo Magistrates Court for the alleged offence, which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court. 

When he was arraigned, he pleaded not guilty before the Court.  

The prosecutor,  Inspector Benedict Aigbokhan, asked the Court to give a date for hearing to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence since he pleaded not guilty before the Court. 

The Presiding Magistrate,  Mr. E. O. Ogunkanmi, granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum. 

He was remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre, Kirikiri Town, pending when he will perfect his bail conditions while the matter was adjourned till 13th April, 2022, for mention.
