Attempt To Tarnish The Image Of Tayo Ayinde Is Exercise In Futility, Says Loyalist

Following spate of media attacks spread on WhatsApp groups targeted to tarnish the image of the easy going Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State, Hon Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, one of his loyalists, Monday Orume, has said that it is an exercise in futility.

Reacting to the attacks, Mr. Monday said, “I’ve been trying to figure out how some people will decide to gang up and cook up stories to tarnish the treasured image of someone in the mold of Tayo Ayinde”.

“Personally, I view it as an orchestrated attack tailored to pitch the easy going Chief of Staff against his leader, who is the National Leader of our great party, the All Progressives Congress.”

“I wish to state categorically that it is an exercise in futility as their gang up has already failed. Tayo Ayinde has come a long way with his leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and their bonding may be the envy of detractors. But their plot is dead on arrival.”

“For the records, Tayo Akinmade Ayinde is not meddlesome. And for those looking to point accusing fingers in his direction for their lack of popularity and acceptance in the Onigbongbo political circle, they have failed.”

“I must state unequivocally here that Ayinde’s progressive approach to all aspirants across Ikeja Federal Constituency especially in Onigbongbo LCDA has been unequalled by any leader within the Federal Constituency.”
