Oyo Lawmaker, Hon Popoola Dies! 

The Honourable Lawmaker representing Ibadan South East State Constituency II at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Segun Popoola, has passed on. 

Hon Popoola reportedly died on Tuesday night at the University College Hospital, (UCH), Ibadan, where he has been receiving treatment.

Hon Popoola died at the age of 46.

Until his death, he was the Chairman, House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters.

Hon Popoola, who was elected under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, had also been elected recently as the candidate of the party for the 2023 general elections.
