Fight Against Drug Abuse: NDLEA Commander Visits Odunmbaku

The Area Commander, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Ikeja, ACN Hembadoon Awa, has visited the Executive Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, Hon David Olusegun Odunmbaku, to discuss how best to curb drug abuse in the Council area. 

ACN Hembadoon Awa, who was accompanied by her second in Command, CSN Ata Michael Adebodun, CSN Mark Akyaras and ASN Okoriko Lilian, said that the agency will roll out programmes to educate the public on the hazards of drug abuse.

Hon Odunmbaku thanked the team for the visit and assured the Commander of his support for the agency to run its operation within and outside Ojodu.

Present at the meeting were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi; Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Olaide Bello; the Council’s Head of Administration, Engr. Dele Abayomi; Council Treasurer, Mrs. Adedipe Oluyemisi; Ojodu LCDA Chief Security Officer, Mr Akinola Williams among others.
